Shoe Crush: Mules

Mule shoes, mule loafers shoes, open back loafers shoes, you name it, it has quite become a thing, if not to say an IT item. It’s all started with the Gucci mules, taking over the entire world and making an appearance and flooding all kind of social media yet somewhat became rapidly into a must-have for everyone out there. But as honest as I can be, a student like me who still depends on her parents yet doesn’t work, for me it was just another item thrown it on my dream wish list, one I could never afford until a very few few few years later, in a very long future of course. However, there’s always the cheap versions of them that come out and sell even quicker just like a fresh bread. 

The other day, I had no intentions or the will to go “shopping” but as I was walking and window shopping, these beautiful babies were there, calling my name and my wallet. I asked for the price and all I can say is that I had the money and the simple desire of buying them because they were so perfect and love at first sight. I know, everybody says this whenever they buy something but believe us when we say that ‘cause we really mean it. I left the store to buy some makeup because that was actually planned and after I was done, I got back and got my pair of shoes and to this day, they’re my favorites. I own two pairs already and want to keep on adding another pair or two more to grow this collection. 

About the shoe itself: it’s kind of like an espadrille, it has this jute detail on the sole of the shoe (?), the material is like leather but has this velvet-like texture which is not pretty good 'cause of the chances of getting dirty with dust are high but not in my case thus far, they're in their box still, it’s pointy and has this super cute bow on top. 

When wearing the shoes, it feels like heaven, there’s nothing better than a very comfortable pair of shoes, plus I'm not so used to "closed" shoes call it ballerinas or sneakers, they fricken hurt my feet so bad, I can't tolerate walking in them, so I guess that this is quite close and also getting used to that type of shoes and also it was just a WIN, WIN, WIN.
