Let's Talk : Bedroom Inspiration

by - September 09, 2016

As I write this post, tomorrow early morning my family and I are heading to see other apartments, we've been house-hunting for the last month or so, and all I can think about is - you might have already guessed it as I shared it over my twitter a couple of days ago - anyway, back to the topic, all I keep on thinking about is having my very own space and very own room. Since I were born I've shared bedroom with someone else for almost two decades now. We're looking for a place that feels like home and gets our hearts fast-beating but also where I can get my own privacy as well.

My style has changed over the years, my go-to motto has always been "less is more" and mostly everything I do revolves around it. As for interior decor ideas I love to keep it simple, clean and minimal yet now it feels like I'm more into Nordic or Scandi interior, I'm getting obsessed with greys and blush hues as of lately, this last to keep it a bit girly, but I'm trying my best to think and overthink about those colors and the furniture I've got, my bed, night table and dressing table including the mirror, they all are made out of rustic wood but actually they are not that raw and rustic, the people who made it worked a little harder on it and it ain't that dark but more likely light wood so, I'm still thinking whether to do this bedroom makeover or not.

My parents would disagree but I want to do this for two reasons, one because is going to be finally my own room and secondly because I plan on having a creative corner that can be my own office or a study place or however you want to call it like. So, I need a place where I can get fresh ideas and loads of inspirations, I've even planned on buying fake cactuses and all and I can't even stop thinking about it and all I do is write notes on ideas about it so that I won't miss any single thing and detail.

Also, I might keep you guys updated on this topic! ;)

  3. I can't wait to see your new room in the future! I imagine it's going to be lovely! Definitely like the grey and blush combo. And wood <3 I'm definitely more of a raw wood person, but with the style you're going for, the cleaner edges DEFINITELY makes more sense!

    1. Me neither!!! Hahaha, I'm so excited that I can't believe I'll have my own room! I totally agree! I'm still trying to picture the room itself with the furniture because it still doesn't convince me at all even if google and Pinterest prove me the opposite! :) Thanks for stopping by and hope you have (had) a lovely day! xx
