A Touch of Rouge

Let me introduce to the very first serie of "outfit of the day" ft also a self-portrait serie No.3 (?) . I've been blogging for a matter of 6 years already and never have I had the chance to upload photos of me. It's been hard to get my photos taken throughtout the years, I've always felt so uncomfortable and never content with the results. Last year, definitely was the year where I tried my best to get better at taking photos, editing and channeling my inner model et voilá, I've done pretty good to be honest and that's what most matter.

Also, I never thought I could look this good or that I was this photogenic; that's why I decided to start this "movement", I don't know how to call it, oh yeah, self portrait series; which I've named "a self portrait is the way to self confidence growth", and let me tell you, my confidence has grown so much. I love to be in front of the camera and that shyness has gone little by little.

Moving now on to this post, I adore this Victorian style inspired blouse. The ruffles on the front are so fun and have always been my favourite kind of style, I paired it with a high-waisted pair of dark blue jeans but it can also be paired with skirts and pants and no shoes policy. (hey, it was at home :P) My make up was my usual go-to and everyday make up which meant no lipstick, when I took the photos my lips looked so pale and so, I borrowed one of my mom's red lipsticks so that, it could match my nails and toe nails as well. :)

outfit // blouse : Bisou Bisou ; Jeans : Classic Jeans - beauty // nail polish : Masglo (ref. Linda) ; lipstick : Cosméticos Vogue  (super fantastic - ref. )

PS: Let me know in the comment box below if you loved this post and also if you want me to share more of my style every now and then!  :)

    1. Thank you SO much dear!!! I did, I mean I consider myself pretty "normal", hearing that from someone else sometimes would make me feel even uncomfortable as I was not used to it. But somehow self-portrait has helped me a lot lately! ♥ xo

    1. Thank you SO much Amely! Your thoughts (comment) actually mean a lot to me, I've always loved your work (blog & photos) so much!
The original photos actually looked like they came straight out of a magazine but didn't like much the final photo edit so had to re-take them again; they kinda still have the same vibe!
I know, it's my favourite and I can not wait to wear it and style it differently with other things! Sending lots of love to your way! ♥ xo
